mi pona is the identity provider and authentication system for the pona.la ecosystem and related projects. You can register an account using the "Register" link in the navigation bar above. Please read the short, non-legalese description of how mi pona handles your data below before registering.
All components of mi pona are free and open source software. mi pona itself is dedicated to the public domain using the Unlicense, and all of its source code is available on GitHub at https://github.com/pona-la/mi-pona.
Some terms and clarification
mi pona is the name of the project and the service as a whole. It is maintained and administered by soko Ni. lldap is the underlying 3rd party user management UI and user database working as the source of truth for mi pona. It is an open source project maintained by a group outside pona.la and hosted as one of the many parts of the mi pona identity stack by soko Ni.
On privacy
mi pona stores your personally identifiable information only when you explicitly provide it to us. We do not track you, and we do not share your information with third parties, except if you wish us to do so (for example, by connecting your account to a third party service), or if we are required to do so by law.
Every user of mi pona has all of the rights described in GDPR and CCPA, regardless of their location. In case you wish to exercise your rights described above, please contact us at lawa@mi.pona.la. Provided the user is underage, these rights may also be exercised by the legal guardian of said user.
mi pona data is stored in Finland, and is protected by the strong privacy laws of the European Union.
